Countdown to City2Surf<br />
WITH NEW Year’s resolutions<br />
quickly approaching, there’s<br />
no better time to set yourself a<br />
personal goal than at one of the<br />
country’s biggest fun runs – the<br />
City2Surf.<br />
On March 22, the Les Mills<br />
City2Surf will celebrate its 46th<br />
running and as always will have<br />
an option for all types of fitness<br />
levels with a 14km and 6km<br />
option.<br />
The 14km event starts at 9am<br />
at Pioneer Stadium, and the<br />
6km event starts at 10am at<br />
Hansens Park, all culminating<br />
for a massive finish at Ferrymead<br />
Playing Fields where there will<br />
be plenty of entertainment and<br />
prizes on offer.<br />
“The Les Mills City2Surf<br />
gives everyone the outlet to<br />
do something for themselves.<br />
Challenge yourself to the 14km<br />
distance or give yourself a first<br />
test and try to finish the 6km<br />
fun run,” said event manager Jon<br />
Holmes.<br />
“It doesn’t matter who you<br />
are or where you’ve come from,<br />
running/jogging/walking the<br />
Les Mills City2Surf is the most<br />
welcoming and achievable thing<br />
you can do in 2020,” he said.<br />
