Take Courage, It is I

catches God by surprise, and therefore I can trust Him
to see me through and trust that somehow, this all fits
into His greater plan and purpose for my life.
God never promised that we would live a trouble-free
life. He never said, "come to Jesus and all your
problems will be solved". What He promises is to be
with us in the midst of our challenges and see us
through them, provided we continue to put our faith
and trust in Him and look to Him alone for strength and
wisdom. "When they call on me, I will answer; I will
be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honour
them", Psalm 91:15; And as Jeremiah 29:11 states, God
promises that when we call upon him, He will listen to
us.
Christ reminds us in John 16:33 that in this world we
will have tribulation but that we must take courage
because he has overcome the world. Also, He reminds
us in John 14: 27 that he gives us peace and not as the
world gives us peace and that we should not let our
hearts be troubled and should not be afraid.
And if Christ said it, all we need do is believe it.
