Mandilas, NNPC partner on quick-service centre
in Abuja, Lagos, others
DETERMINED to take its
services to the door steps
of its numerous customers,
Mandilas Motors in conjunction
with the retail arm of the Nigerian
National Petroleum Corporation,
NNPC, has entered into
partnership on quick service
centres across the country. The
two organisations recently
unveiled a quick service centre in
Abuja and Lagos, while
promising that more would be
opened in other parts of the
country.
This is as the count-down
begins to next year’s Mandilas’
70th anniversary of doing
business and providing services
in Nigeria. The Group has
reiterated its commitment to the
economy and its teeming
customers. Mandilas was recently
decorated with the best workshop
of the year by the Nigeria Auto
Journalists Association for its
outstanding service deliveries to
its customers.
The management also affirmed
that as part of the ongoing
restructuring strides, it was
making efforts to ensure that its
products and services, especially
in the Motors’ Division, were
brought closer to the customers to
ensure they enjoyed motoring
with ease.
This came to the fore recently
when Mandilas Group Ltd and
the retail arm of the Nigerian
National Petroleum Corporation,
the NNPC Retail Limited,
consummated a new partnership
with the opening of an ultramodern
Quick-Service Centre in
Abuja. The partnership which is
set to transform the automotive
aftermarket, will lead to the
opening of more of such centres
in other parts of the country.
During the inauguration of the
first nationwide network of Quick
Service Centres at the NNPC
Mega Petrol Station on Olusegun
Obasanjo Way, Zone 1, Abuja,
Mandilas pledged to provide the
best of after-sales service and
maintenance for vehicle owners
in the Federal Capital Territory.
Not surprisingly, NNPC top
officials at the event disclosed that
Mandilas,was selected for the
partnership after a rigorous
research for a top notch auto aftersales
service provider.
In his remarks, Managing
Director of NNPC Retail Limited,
Sir Billy Okoye, called on
Nigerians to enjoy the efficient
services offered by the wellequipped
NNPC/Mandilas
Service Centre. Okoye said the
service centre was strategically
located to provide quick and
efficient service for automobile
users within Abuja.
Addressing the guests, the
Group Chief Executive Officer of
the Mandilas Group Ltd, Ola
Debayo-Doherty, stated that
considering the Group’s
experience as a provider of quality
vehicles and excellent after-sales

Toyota Corolla regains Nigeria Car of the Year title

TOYOTA Corolla, the most
decorated car in Nigeria
has regained the Nigerian Car
of the Year title, three years after
losing the title consecutively
to Kia Rio, Nissan Almera
and Hyundai Creta. Corolla
bounced back with a new design
and complete make-over
which made it very visible on
the road.
It was a celebration galore by
leading auto brands, lubricants
brands in the country as the
Nigeria Auto Journalists Association,
NAJA, recently presented
different categories of
awards to deserving winners at
the Eko Hotels, Victoria Island,
Lagos.
The award night which had
the representatives of the Director
General of the National
Automotive Design and Development
Council, NADDC,
Aliyu Jelani, and representative
of the Corp Marshal of the
Federal Roads Safety Corps,
FRSC, as special guests was
well attended by many Chief
Executive Officers and other
stakeholders in the nation’s
automotive sector.
In the award categories for
2019, Toyota Corolla won the
Stallion's best outing at
NAJA Awards

awards held at the Prestigious Eko

Tuesday.
