Teamwork makes<br />

the DREAM work<br />

For the third season in a row the Upper-Bavarian<br />

<strong>BORA</strong> <strong>–</strong> hansgrohe team has stepped up a gear<br />

and topped their success of the previous year.<br />

The season got off to a very good start. Wellknown<br />

key players Peter Sagan, Sam Bennett<br />

and Pascal Ackermann managed to snatch<br />

18 sprint wins between them by July. But the<br />

consistent, hard work of the younger riders<br />

in the team also paid off. All-rounders Felix<br />

Großschartner, Patrick Konrad, Emanuel Buchmann<br />

and the new addition to the team, Maximilian<br />

Schachmann, showed us what they’re made of.<br />

The three-week Grand Tours are traditionally the<br />

main focal point of the season, not only for the<br />

teams but also for the media. Eleven million live<br />

spectators and two billion TV viewers in 190<br />

countries around the world watched on as world<br />

champion Peter Sagan fought valiantly to take<br />
