SCHOOL NEWS
As previously described in The Journal, Mock Trial
places students in roles to “try” a fictional case.
CovCath fields two Mock Trial teams: Team White
(19-4-1 record for the season, with 1st place in the UK
Wildcat Invitational and 4th place in the KHSMTA State
Tournament) and Team Blue (16-7-1; 10th place in the
state).
Harrison Farrar, Lucas Jones, Andrew Gerdes,
Michael Marino, AJ Kraemer and Jasper Peeno were
recognized as Butler Scholars. A reception to celebrate
their success for the 2018-19 school year was held.

Thank you to the 31 business professionals who took time
out of their schedules to make Career Day at CCH such a
success by sharing their journeys and tips as our juniors
and seniors prepare for college and the workforce!
