WOMEN’S HISTORY &
CULTURAL CENTER
For several years, a dedicated group of
alumnae have put together a substantial
collection of Girl Scout memorabilia.
The Lake Mary Museum held a
month-long exhibit in March which
showcased the evolution of Girl Scouts
and included many items from the
collection. In September, Orange County
Commissioners voted to provide a grant
to build the state’s first women’s history
center. Construction is expected to begin
in the next several months.
