Dolittle
After losing his wife seven years earlier, the eccentric Dr. John Dolittle
(Robert Downey Jr.), famed doctor and veterinarian of Queen Victoria’s
England, hermits himself away behind the high walls of Dolittle Manor with
only his menagerie of exotic animals for company. When the young queen
falls gravely ill, a reluctant Dolittle is forced to set sail on an epic adventure
to a mythical island in search of a
cure, regaining his courage as he
crosses old adversaries and discovers
wondrous creatures.
The doctor is joined on his quest
by a young apprentice as well as
many animal friends including an
anxious gorilla, an enthusiastic duck,
a bickering duo of an ostrich and a polar bear and a headstrong parrot
who serves as Dolittle’s most trusted advisor and confidante. Robert
Downey Jr. electrifies in this vivid reimagining of the classic tale. Dolittle will
be in cinemas from 7 February. For more information, please visit www.

movie to parents with young children. It really does not disappoint.”

children and adults under the age of 40.

and families to get together to ensure Wear A Hat Day not only
great fun, but is also seen as a powerful vehicle of hope for the
