Providence Catholic High School<br />
Two from Orland Park named Students<br />
of the Month<br />
Dr. John Harper, principal of Providence<br />
Catholic High School, recently<br />
announced the school’s “Students of the<br />
Month” for December.<br />
Every month, each academic department<br />
chairperson selects one student as<br />
its “Student of the Month” from a number<br />
of students nominated by faculty and<br />
staff. Students of the Month receive a<br />
certificate of recognition, have their photos<br />
displayed in Providence Catholic’s<br />
main hallway for the following month<br />
and are invited to a special luncheon.<br />
Among those named December Students<br />
of the Month were Orland Parkers<br />
Sophia Wilko and Ella Coyle.<br />
Bradley University<br />
Three students from Orland Park receive<br />
degrees<br />
Bradley University recently announced<br />
nearly 300 students who received their<br />
academic degrees in December.<br />
Among them: Lindsay Kozlowski, of<br />
Orland Park, graduated with a major in<br />
music education instrumental; Amanda<br />
DeVos, of Orland Park, graduated with<br />
a major in mechanical engineering biomedical<br />
engineering; and Raven Elias,<br />
of Orland Park, graduated with a major<br />
in community wellness.<br />
Carthage College<br />
Students from Orland Park among those<br />
on dean’s list<br />
More than 900 students have been<br />
named to the Carthage College dean’s<br />
list for the fall 2019 semester. Dean’s list<br />
honors are accorded to Carthage students<br />
who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point<br />
average while carrying at least 14 credit<br />
hours during a semester.<br />
Among those named to the list are the<br />
following students from Orland Park:<br />

President’s list names Orland Park<br />
resident among honorees<br />
Madelyn Vacha, of Orland Park, was<br />
