Protection Kit<br />
Water gelling agent that aids water in structure protection,<br />
fire suppression and retardation. Leaves behind a coating of<br />
water gel that reduces re-kindling. Use to form a gelled fire<br />
break or to protect structures, trees and vegetation within a<br />
burn area. Sticks to all surfaces including windows. Approved<br />
with the USDA Forest Service for use with ground engines<br />
and helicopter buckets, Spec 5100-306A. Non-toxic and safe<br />
for use on trees and vegetation.<br />
Kit contains four 1 gallon containers of Thermo-Gel 200L,<br />
one garden hose eductor/nozzle and instructions.<br />

K-100 Perimeter Shield<br />
Proprietary powder designed for dilution in water and applied as a<br />
passive fire retardant to the natural areas surrounding the perimeter of<br />
homes, farms, ranches, and other landscaped areas with fuel growth<br />
with nearly no impact to the environment. K-100 can be applied at the<br />
beginning of the fire season and will remain in place unless exposed<br />
to prolonged rain or water exposure. When treated areas are exposed<br />
to fire or extreme heat, the vegetation or wood forms a carbon-char,<br />
which interferes with combustion and prevents fire propagation-creating<br />
the ultimate fire shield. Perimeter Shield readily dissolves in water<br />
and is recommended to mix 1 lb. to 1 gallon for applications providing<br />
approximately 200 sq. ft. per gallon of mixture.<br />

Emits 40-100 gallons depending upon the power of your<br />
water pump (the more powerful, the better) and you can use<br />
1 or multiple 100 foot hoses. Hose can be draped over or laid<br />
around a house or structure. Less expensive than sprinklers,<br />
outputs more water and is easier to install and use. Requires<br />
water sources including ponds, streams, wells, reservoirs,<br />
