has changed radically
in the last few years.
The mum and daughter
team Caeryn and Katie
Collins have owned the
business for nine years
and have decided not
only on a name change
but a different way of providing a service and
crucially a new home.
Back in October they moved from their Cross St
location to larger premises on the High St. Not
only is the site more prominent, the double fronted
property has a car park right behind the shop.
Which for anyone in the know, understands this is
like gold dust in Standish!
The new shop is fantastic, and the bigger space
means they can display their services with ease.
However, the range of services they provide means
that you can shop with Impressions without ever
having to visit the shop. Not only do they have a
website, you can take advantage of their innovative
‘Take Two’ service. Where you can order and pay
for uniform in the size you think you need but have
another size delivered at the same time. I can hear
the mum and dads taking a collective sigh of relief
– gone are the days of dragging your children to try
on uniforms, try on there and then in the comfort
of their own home and you can give the size you
don’t need back. There is no need to pay for the
additional sizes, returns or alternative deliveries!
Deliveries are carried out at pre-arranged times to
make sure there is someone in to try on. It couldn’t
be simpler!
And if your child is starting high school why not use
the free home fitting service? The service is now
in its 10th year and has become an increasingly
popular service. Caeryn designed the service to
help reduce the stress of the single biggest uniform
purchase you make – when your son or daughter
starts high school. Impressions work closely with
all our schools so they can tell you what you need,
what you don’t need and when to get it. A home
fitting gives you the space and time to fit the kids
out without having to drag them out shopping – for
something they don’t really want to buy.
How it works
They bring samples of all the school uniform you
will need; the kids try everything on and then an
order is put together. You will receive an email
copy of the order for you to confirm. You can pay
any time before the uniform is collected. And
as the host, if you have a party with 3 or more
kids you can get discounts on your uniform! The
bigger the total spend on the night – the bigger
