Potential or current useable indoor community space:
Main church, choir vestry (also used as a green room
during events), Lady Chapel, St John’s Chapel, North
and South Transepts (each side), additional space,
children’s area and kitchen at West End, Chatterton
Room upstairs needs refurbishment. Outside, the
Churchyard could offer more opportunities for
community use.
Very limited disabled access and toilet facilities limited
to a portaloo, cultural barriers for non- Christians.
Daily access to general public. Static pews in main
church and part of choir vestry. Need to balance
useage for activities/groups with provision for quiet
reflection. Booking is via Parish Office
In addition to regular religious services, choirs,
Sunday school and all-age services aimed at families,
- PECO Theatre, Treefest in December, Dementia
Choir (though generally in Faithspace), Ad hoc
events, film showing. Community Carols in 2017
attracted a wider range of local residents.

Various. Charge for hire of whole church for a full day
is £300-£500. Undercroft £30 per hour plus
additional charges according to requirements eg late
lock up. Ideas and requests for useage are
negotiable- keen to encourage new use of the space.
