Key holder
Each group that wants to be able to book and open
the TRC themselves will need to nominate a named
key holder, who must sign up to the code of conduct
and terms listed below. Once a completed key holder
agreement is received by the Housing Delivery team,
we will provide a key to the named individual.
Housing Delivery will hold a record of key holders and
the keys assigned to them. In the case of service
user groups, the nominated key holder is expected to
be the service manager, who must sign up to the key
holder agreement in the same way that a tenant rep
would be expected to.
The nominated key holder will be responsible for
opening and closing the TRC, and ensuring that the
building is left safe and secure whenever their group
uses it. Some groups may want to nominate two key
holders in case one is not available on the day of their
meeting. Key holders are expected not to let other
members of their (or other) group(s) have their keys.
