almacén de Wynwood Arts District en
los 90, sentando las bases para hacer,
de este sector, el epicentro de las

It´s a gallery deeply intertwined with
the city’s cultural scene. Mera and Don
Rubell took their private collection to a
warehouse in Wynwood Arts District in
the ’90s, planting the foundations of what
would later become one of the crown
jewels of the main artistic hotspot.

El que sigue la escena artística
de Miami, más temprano que
tarde dará con la pista de Fredric
Snitzer. Su carácter visionario y
su gran experiencia, lo llevaron a
abrir su institución homónima en
la década de los 70. Su legado se
mantiene hasta nuestros días.
Anybody that follows the growth
of Miami’s art scene will sooner or
later encounter Fredric Snitzer. His
visionary character and a great
deal of experience sparked in him
the desire to open his homonymous
institution in the ’70s whose legacy
still casts a bright light nowadays.

Él mismo se define como una “raza
aparte” en la escena plástica. Su
influencia entre los coleccionistas
emergentes y consagrados, trasciende
tal y como lo hace su legado de una
frontera a otra. Al tratarse de arte
moderno y contemporáneo con
esencia latina, pocos tienen el tino y
la experiencia que diferencia a Nader.
Nader describes himself as an alien
in the artistic atmosphere but in a
great share of the world’s. His success,
just as his pull among emerging and
established collectors, is not contained
by borders. When dealing with
modern and contemporary art with a
Latino touch, Nader’s experience and
an appraisal are otherworldly.
