This Triannual report includes the most important activities of the Institute in both basic
and applied research during the period of 2006 to 2008. The structured budget development,
running projects, organized meetings, invited guests are included in this report together with
all important events and milestones. We are offering the reader a comprehensive overview of
the Institute covering the three-year period in order to provide a chance to recognize the
trends in the Institutes’ development.
