The well-established system BORA Professional 2.0
combines functional aesthetics with innovative
efficiency and maximum ease of use. Even
before its market launch, the Red Dot Award
judging panel named it the best of the best
systems 2017. In that same year, it also received
the prestigious GOOD DESIGN Award, which the
Chicago Athenaeum uses to recognise outstanding
product design. In 2018, the German Design
Council awarded BORA Professional 2.0 the
internationally prestigious German Design Award
2018 in the highest category of Gold.
The pièce de résistance of BORA Professional
2.0 is the user interface. The cooktops and
cooktop extractor communicate with each other and
the extractor’s innovative cover flap opens and
closes automatically when the extractor is operated.
When switched off, the system is fully closed.
This pioneering ease of use is achieved through
an intelligent control knob with integrated
functions ranging from power control to the
temperature indicator. It is the perfect
combination of a classic knob control and the
possibilities offered by the integrated touchoperated
surface and digital display.
