against all relevant state and federal legislation,
and standards to determine compliance.
Key inclusions:
• Examination of aerodrome and terminal
operations manuals and their subsidiary
documents.
• Audit of documents and system implementation
against legislative compliance and best practice.
• A recommended framework and action plan to
establish effective, integrated, and quality
controlled manuals that reflect current
operations and meet future requirements.
Operational Risk Management
The identification of safety risks and the
development of a risk register to monitor risk
mitigation efforts.
Key inclusions:
• Annual reviews of the Risk Register to
determine its effectiveness in reducing
operational risk.
Wildlife Hazard Assessments (WHA)
An evaluation of the efficacy of an airport wildlife
management program with recommendations for
improvements.
Key inclusions:
• Audit against national regulations and
international best practice standards.
• An assessment of wildlife hazards on and within
13km of the airfield including wildlife surveys.
• A review of documents, policies and procedures
related to managing wildlife hazards.
• A risk assessment to determine hazardous
species.
• Recommendations to improve the wildlife
management program and address management
gaps.
• Development of an Aerodrome Risk Register
that:
Aggregates known and predicted risks.
Scores and rates risks.
Considers current and potential mitigation
and calculates the residual risk.
