Why did you choose your
major/career?
Making major life decisions can be hard. Each year, every senior is
confronted with this challenge when deciding what they want to do postgraduation.
Knowing why you made a decision can help you complete
your goals and get to where you want to be. As they always say, “If you
do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life.”
by Zachary Mester
“It was my Junior year and Mrs. Kletecka had just assigned a multigenre
research paper. She said we could do any topic we wanted, it
just had to be something we were passionate about. I struggled SO
much with picking a topic, I changed my mind 5 times. I eventually
settled on what motivates a serial killer to kill from a psychological
aspect. While doing the research I became extremely intrigued about
how our brains work and how we process things. Researching
information for this paper opened up a whole new world that I want
to continue to learn about which is why I choose Psychology as my
major.” - Taylar S.
