DUAL CREDIT BASICS AND FACTSDual Credit BasicsEligible Courses for Dual CreditIn the core curriculum of the public institution of higher education providing the credit:1. A career and technical education course; or2. A foreign language course.This provision does not apply to a college course for dual credit offered as part of an approved early collegeeducation program established under TEC Section 29.908 or an early college program as defined in TACChapter 4 Subchapter D, that assists students in earning a certificate or associate’s degree while in highschool.
