THE LORD’S PRAYER
Let us pray with confidence as our Saviour has taught us:
Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.
BREAKING OF THE BREAD
We break this bread
to show that we are sharing together as the body of Christ.
Though we are many, and in many places, we are one body,
because we have, and we shall again, share in one bread.
GIVING OF COMMUNION
Whist the priest receives the bread and wine, you are encouraged to eat and drink what you
have in front of you. If there are others with you, you might like to share that together, but
please do so in accordance with Public Health guidelines.
COMMUNION SONG OR ANTHEM
As we share in food and drink together a song or anthem may be played.
