In 2017, our Founder and CEO, Cathrin Stickney, was
shocked to learn that it would take more than two
hundred years to close the gender gap. Driven by that,
and her own early-career experience being told by a
potential employer that they “didn’t hire women,” she
founded Parity.org to address the gender gap in
business, particularly at the top where the gender gap
is widest.
• The ParityPledge® asks companies to interview at
least one qualified woman for every open role, VP
and higher, including the C-suite and the Board.
Nearly 500 companies have signed the pledge, and
hundreds of individuals have also signed the
Individual ParityPledge® to support and celebrate
women in business.
• The ParityINDEX® helps companies measure and
improve their gender balance. Companies can
benchmark against their industries to see progressover
time.
• The Best Companies for Women to Advance List
recognize companies that offer programs and
policies that help women succeed in the workplace,
while the Gateway Award is given to the rare
companies that have reached gender parity on their
Board and C-Suite.

Become an Anchor Partner

workplace. A partnership with Parity.org can signal to your clients how
important this effort is to the Bloomberg organization.
The ParityINDEX can augment the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index
by helping companies measure their progress in real time. We believe
the daily data of the ParityINDEX makes it a complementary tool for
the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index and its companies.
We’ll make sure your logo is prominently displayed on our website and
credit Bloomberg publicly for supporting us. You’ll also receive a
media kit for your internal and external communication strategy,
including a certificate of appreciation. And for gifts at the $50,000
level, companies will receive a sculpture acknowledging this generous
donation.
Anchor partners help Parity.org continue our mission to close the
gender gap on boards and in the C-suite. We do not charge for any of
our programs, and your support helps us continue providing research,
