FEE DEFERRALS
A student who presents evidence of sponsorship, scholarship by a
government agency, another agency, or a student loan is eligible to
have tuition and fee payment deferred. Evidence must be presented
each semester. Failure to provide this confirmation on or before the
payment deadline (each semester) may result in the cancellation of
the student’s registration. If granted a deferral, interest will still be
charged.
A partial deferral may occur if post-dated cheques for payments (on a
monthly basis) are presented on or before the deadline date for tuition
and fee payments for each semester. If granted a partial deferral,
interest will still be charged.
REFUNDS FOR WITHDRAWAL
If, for whatever reason, a student needs to withdraw from the
programme, tuition and fees will be reassessed for the term in which
the withdrawal occurs.
Fees and tuition will be refunded as follows:
• Start of semester to end of first month: 75% returned
• Start of second month to end of second month: 50% returned
• Start of third month to end of term: 0% returned
Study trip fees may be not be refunded after November when
reservations for flights and accommodations have already been made.
PERSONAL EXPENSES
Accommodation $450 x 8 months = $3,600
Clothing and personal supplies $250 x 8 months = $2,000
Recreation $35 x 8 months = $280
Food $250 x 8 months = $2,000
Total Personal Expenses $7,880
Financial Assistance
Government Student Loans
Students are encouraged to begin the process of loan application
immediately after their acceptance so they will be approved for
funding well ahead of the tuition payment deadline.
Eligibility
Rosebud students are eligible for federal student loans and in
some cases provincial student loans. Students need to apply for
government-sponsored loans through their province of residence.

studentsfinance. Residents of other provinces must contact the
Student Finance Board of their provincial government.
