WHAT DO RSA GRADUATES DO?
Here is a question that we’ve all asked ourselves:
Can I really make a living as a theatre artist? 80%
of graduates with an F.R.S.A. (Fellow of Rosebud
School of the Arts) find employment in the theatre
or a position that demands a theatre background
(the other 20% pursue a different direction in their
life). There are a variety of exciting professions open
to trained & passionate theatre artists. Below is a
sample of a few of our graduates who are currently
working in the field. And there are many more. Come
join us on the adventure of discovering your gifts and
your purpose as an artist and human being.
Adam is a
Vancouver based
actor in stage,
film, and TV. He
is currently
pursuing his MFA
at York University in
Toronto.
Since graduating
last year, Cassia
has been working
steadily as an
actor and singer. In
2013, she will be
managing Sandbox
Children’s Theatre.
Dale is a designer
who works in
professional
theatres in
Vancouver,
Chemainus and
Rosebud, as well
as working in art
departments on
various TV shows.
Lyf is an actorin-residence
at
Sanctuary Ministry
in Toronto. He uses
theatre and drama
as an outreach tool
for people living on
the streets.
Aaron launched
his performance
career with shows
in Rosebud Theatre,
Burnt Thicket,
and the Canadian
Badlands Passion
Play.
After moving back
to the States, Karli
performed with
Lake City Theatre
Company in
Minneapolis and
others.
After touring with
Trickster Theatre
and Evergreen
Theatre from
Calgary, Gio moved
to Vancouver
where film, TV and
professional theatre
work keep him busy.
Karl works as an
actor, director and
fight director across
Southern Alberta,
and achieved an
Advanced Stage
Combat Certification
with Fight Directors
Canada.
Julie is an equity
apprentice stage
manager working
with Theatre
Calgary, The Citadel,
and the Canadian
Badlands Passion
Play.
