In order to streamlineoperations, and improve the‘turnkey’ customer experience,eight existing businesses havenow been merged into just two– Filtermist International Limitedand Filtermist Systems Limited.From the company’s modernHeadquarters in Telford,Filtermist International Limitedwill manage the manufacturingfunction; taking responsibility forproduction of the extensiveportfolio of brands the companyhas now assimilated. In additionto the oil mist filters that thecompany is renowned for in themetalworking sector, FiltermistInternational Limited is nowresponsible for manufacturingproducts from other establishedbrands that are well-known inthe surface finishing sector, suchas Gallito spray booths and paintfinishing systems, and theFastClip extraction ductworksystem. Manufacturing iscontinuing at the company’sexisting production sites inDewsbury, Northampton, Telfordand Wetherby.With the creation of FiltermistSystems Limited, which hasresponsibility for sales to UKcustomers and management ofthe company’s project work, therestructure also brings together awealth of experience from withinGallito Ltd, as well as from othercompanies acquired inFiltermist’s purchase of the DCSGroup in early 2019, and mergesthis new reserve of know-howwith the expertise Filtermistgained through the acquisition ofMulti-Fan Systems, back in 2016.Although now operating underthe umbrella of FiltermistSystems Limited, the people,products and services remain thesame. The restructure has beendesigned to improve groupsynergies across all of the brandsto deliver outstanding customerservice.“This change is part of astrategic, long-term plan we’vedeveloped to help us growglobally,” explained FiltermistCEO, James Stansfield. “As wellas increasing our productportfolio through the brands wehave acquired, we have alsoincreased our headcount bymore than 300%, giving us asubstantial nationwide presence.We wanted to capitalise on thisby ensuring our customers caneasily access the best knowledgeand the best skills that suit theirspecific requirements.“There has been a majorincrease in demand for turnkeysolutions, where customers cango to one organisation and haveall of their requirements met to ahigh standard.
