Dear Friends,
It is a pleasure to extend my warmest greetings as you gather to celebrate
the eighth annual Montclair Film Festival.
For nearly a decade, the Montclair Film Festival has served as a prominent
cultural anchor and source of pride for the State of New Jersey. As a member
of the United States Senate Cultural Caucus, I am well aware of the enormous
impact that the arts have on people’s lives from all different backgrounds.
I am grateful for your work to expand access to the arts and to highlight
filmmakers and actors of the highest caliber right here in New Jersey.
Over the years, the Montclair Film Festival has attracted thousands of people
to experience the wonder of film and served as an economic engine locally. It
is fitting that this world-renowned festival is held in New Jersey, which is the
birthplace of film and has inspired iconic movies and television shows for the
world to enjoy.
Thank you for providing a forum for so many families and friends to gather
and celebrate the arts and culture together. Best of luck for another
successful festival.

work to their community. Now entering its eighth year, this amazing film
program has grown to become one of the top regional film festivals in the
United States.
It is great to be able to recognize the valuable contribution of the Montclair
Film Festival. It truly provides a unique opportunity for New Jersey residents to
