HOW TO USE THE GRID
Building a festival schedule is never easy, but we hope this grid will help you
put together a plan for the films and events you want to attend at the 2019
Montclair Film Festival. Here are some tips to know about using the Grid to
schedule your festival experience:
Make a schedule based on when you are free, not what is playing. Your time
is important, and you can’t see everything. Try drawing lines across the Grid
that reflect when you can actually attend, and find a film that interests you in
when you are available.
The boxes do not match the film lengths, but instead, are designed to include
extra time for Q&As. Use the end of the box to draw a line to your next film;
if they don’t overlap, you should be able stay for the Q&A and make it to your
next movie.
Always refer to the website to confirm your schedule. Things change
sometimes, films and events get added at the last minute, and adjustments to
the schedule have to be made. Our website at MontclairFilm.org will always
have the latest, up-to-the-minute information on scheduling.
