Namaste, A few days ago our

HRD Minister Shri Ramesh

Pokhriyal informed the country

about the new education policy. I

used to discuss this in my family

and friend circle for a long time in

our old education policy. I was

greatly impressed by the fact that

in this education policy, Co-

Curricular activities have been

given importance. I have seen many such friends who wanted to make their passion their

future, but due to the old education policy, they could not do so.

This has been happening for a long time and many parents have come out about it many times,

this is a topic that has taken a long time to improve which is the burden of the students' bags.

After understanding this new education policy, I believe that after relief from the burden of

the bag of the students, the students will also get mental freedom.

But the question in the new education policy is how will we facilitate it. I have seen that there

are many schools which lack space which is operated in a house or a building. This new

education policy has become a matter of thinking for all those schools.

A very big topic has come up for those schools where fees were charged in the name of

activities, but their theory just studied. In my own student life, I saw teachers who believed

that bookish knowledge is everything.

It is hoped that now the parents will not put the burden of education on the children, nor will

the children take the stress of getting fewer marks in studies or exams.

ROHIT VERMA

EDITOR

As a student of the educational field, I observe

so many things during my study. There were

many ideas, thoughts, opinions and approaches

to lead the system or try to make it better and

fruitful for the students. I agree there are many

loopholes in the system administratively,

authoritatively, politically and individually as well.

Here I just want to share one tragedy which

happened in the last few days in my village. Here

was a student who was in 10th standard, a few

days before you all knew that the CBSE school’s

exam result displayed. after a few hours of result

publishing, he gets suicide. The reason for this

was the result only because he failed in 2

subjects and his neighbour friend passed (As per

the sources). He was just 15 years old and he

did it. He went to the respective place but he left

some questions for us, for me to think and see

what's happening around me. Now all the pupils

of my village are discussing what could be the

issue. Were there any parental pressure or social pressure, economical pressure or something else?

As much as I got to know about him, he was free till the day of the result. The last 5 days he spent

joyfully and happily he got a new cell phone; he booked a bike for himself & he went to the farm just

a day before the incident to do things. That day itself he was very free and normal as the old days.

He said to his parents ``go and have rest" they went to the bedroom and he locked himself in a

separate room and then he hanged himself. His parents were totally unaware of this even though

they didn't know about the result either. His mother was shocked when she saw him hanged.

we cannot imagine their situation at that time. I was in shock when I got this news from outsiders.

So, I'm confused to think that what happened to him, forced him to take this decision. It was and it

is, very strange for me to reflect on this situation. what value of the education he was understanding

what purpose he made about the academic qualifications? These questions for him are gone already

but still, I want to know because I don't know who will be the next. I also know this is a huge topic to

make a conclusion with this note but still, I'm trying to express my way of thinking & thoughts. this is

just for us the matter of result is so less in comparison to life. Life takes a lot of value rather than a

result. We all know this but how will children get this. they didn't get the meaning of life. I hope you

all agree with this to say living life is itself an art itself an education. The most important point is to

live a life other than the rest of the things.

One of the aims of education is to make life better and beautiful for self and for society.

I hope we can do one thing at-least to talk to our younger siblings and cousins to let them free from

the academic pressure.

most liked designer kurtas in the festival season are made by seeing

beautiful embroidery designs. Even threadwork designs can be

seen on shirt collars. Top designers prefer embroidery in shirts

to sherwani for men.

Women's favourite

The embroidery done on colourful clothes is very

pleasing to women. It also includes lehenga, kurta and

salwar and churidar. The embroidery done on the

clothes is done with one or two stitches. Generally,

beautiful pictures of nature are drawn in it.

Similarly, Sindhi embroidery is most common

on ladies’ suits. It can also be seen in lowbudget

suits. Zardozi is still the best choice for

embroidery for Royal families.

Embroidery trend in Western dress

Indian fashion designers do not want to let go of decorating jeans, shirts and jackets with colourful

threads. There is a special demand for jackets abroad with handwork costumes. Chikankari on

short kurta is well-liked in men's wear. Apart from this, the work of Zardozi, Katdana and pot is also in great demand. It is

always in demand in IndoWestern Dresses. The embroidery craze on asymmetrical wells remains in every season.

Topps also became the first preference

Tops adorned with mirror work can be made more attractive with colourful

embroidery. Wear a light-coloured top with dark bottoms such as jeans or leggings.

The short stitching of the embroidery also makes such tops beautiful. Embroidery

done on jeans is on-demand among college-going.

Embroidery also dominating in accessories

The clutch

Threadwork done on women's purses, clutches, ladies’ belts and

handbags is in fashion. Silk, brocade embroidered purses and clutch are

included in the young girls' favourite list. Apart

from

this, threadwork designs can also be seen on

F

ace masks are no longer a necessity, but in

2014, Chinese designer Billy Elish introduced

the latest fashion boutique at the Fashion

Week of China. His idea at the time was that people

could often find some glamorous alternative to avoid

pollution in most of the Chinese states. He also

appeared in his fashionable clothes worn at the

Grammy Awards ceremony that year.

Fashion in Asian countries such as China, Korea and

Japan included designer face masks as a shield to

deal with rising pollution. The rest of the world is

waking up to the fact that your mask does not have to

be boring or surgical if you aren’t a frontline

healthcare worker or afflicted by COVID.

Fashion has always had a way of taking our core

wardrobe essentials — outerwear, underwear, and

everything in between — and turning them into

statement pieces. Consider the trusty trench coat, for

example, which was created to shield soldiers from

the elements but, over time, turned into one of the

most distinctive utility apparel items a person could

own. And don't get us started on how the functional

bike short has morphed into a top streetwear trend

that will not go away. It's no surprise, then, that the

protective face coverings we've been advised to wear

outdoors to curb the spread of the coronavirus have

quickly been embraced and beautified by the fashion

world.

The blue and white surgical masks that are currently

the most visible personal protective equipment are

democratizing forces, rendering all wearers equal

under isolation, signifying our communal experience

and our collective fear. Even the

homemade masks that have begun

to proliferate, while somewhat

idiosyncratic, are united in their

craftiness.

When masks migrate into the

realm of fashion, however, they

become something else. As with all

accessories (as with shoes, bags

and scarves), they become symbols of not just health

or social concern, but of identity.

Indian fashion designers are creating masks that are

fashionable and allows the bride to express

themselves. Masks are the latest fashion trends for

women in India, and Indian fashion designers

understand how a bride needs something breathable

and functional apart from complementing the

wedding attire.

Brands are exploring every opportunity to mitigate

the economic pain of the lockdown. Fashion and

apparel are among the worst hit. Hence, we will see

innovation from them.

Globally, fashion brands such as Dior, Prada, Gucci

and Louis Vuitton recalibrated their manufacturing

units to make masks, protective gear and sanitisers.

Their masks initiative has moved

from public-spirited to a

fashion offering. Indian

designers and savvy artisans

are fast catching up.

is quite preferred. You can easily wear it from

office to casual look. Pairing it with a simple t-

shirt and skinny fitted jeans looks good.

Denim Style

In addition to denim

jeans, the jacket is

also very popular.

You can pair it

with a white tee

or polo shirt. The

double denim look

is also very much liked

among youngsters, so

you should wear denim jeans with a denim

Shacket. However, keep in mind that there is a

slight difference in the shades of both. If you are

wearing a light colour denim Shacket, then keep

the colour of jeans a bit dark. It looks very good.

Military Shacket

popular. You can team it up

Hair Sunscreen

We are all aware of how much skin needs sunscreen, but do you know that hair also needs sunscreen. According to beauty

experts, hair and scalp also need protection from the sun. Hair can also get damaged by the rays of the sun and when we

do not pay much attention to hair care and spend most of our time outside, due to sun rays, hair becomes dry, lifeless, and

colourless. At the same time, they become weak and break and there is a problem of split hair.

So, there is a need to apply sunscreen to keep the hair safe. Hair sunscreen acts as a protective shield on your beautiful

hair. Use sunscreen shampoo for hair to protect the hair from the side effects of sun rays and to retain its moisture. Hair

sunscreen is a UV filtering hair product, the use of which will not spoil the natural colour of the hair. But if you do not want

to use the sunscreen shampoo found in the market, then you can keep your hair safe by using a few simple things.

Most hair sunscreens are made with UV filters. They protect hair from the sun. Hair sunscreen is available in the market or

online. They will protect

your hair from

getting spoiled

and lifeless. By applying it

continuously, the pollution

will not have

any bad effect

on your hair.

You can also

apply natural sunscreen to

your hair if you want. For

example, hot oil treatment in

hair is also effective. Mix a

few drops of

sesame oil in

coconut oil, almond oil. This

prevents hair from getting

spoiled by the

sun. Also, apply

Aloe Vera gel to

the hair and

wash it after 15

minutes. They

act as a natural

sunscreen for

the hair. Regardless of

the weather, always remember to cover the hair with a scarf or any cloth whenever you go out of the house. Even after

applying sunscreen, if you take care of small things, then your hair will always look beautiful and healthy.

The natural pigment that gives colour to hair is called melanin. It also protects hair from free radicals and protects them

from UV rays. But due to excessive UVA, melanin starts to damage and the hair colour gets blotted out. This happens in all

types of hair, but light coloured hair causes more damage because they have less melanin. After this, the hair starts to dry.

Even if you use an artificial hair dye, the natural colour of the hair loses.

If there is more hair contact in UVB radiation, free radicals start attacking the hair proteins especially keratin. It is the major

component of hair. It is also more harmful than UVA radiation.

Natural Hair Sunscreen

Massage the hair with a natural oil such as tea tree oil. It provides moisture to the hair and ends dryness. Hot oil treatment

is also effective before going out of the house. Mix a few drops of coconut oil and almond oil in 6 drops of sesame oil.

Massage the head with this and comb it. Apart from protecting the hair from the sun, it also makes them soft.

Aloe vera and honey

Aloe Vera is an influential sun blocker. It contains UV blocking compounds. Aloe vera deeply conditioning hair and speeds

up their growth. Honey keeps hair hydrated and moisturized.

15 | www.theim.in

Method - Mix 1 tablespoon aloe vera gels and 1 tablespoon honey in one bowl. Apply it well on the roots and hair. Leave it

for a while and then shampoo.

Aloe vera acts as a natural sunscreen and also

moisturizes the hair.

Tea water

Tea water also acts as a natural sunscreen. It

protects the hair from sunlight and does not allow

dryness.

Method - In a bowl, boil little tea leaves and let it

cool. Then filter it on the hair and wear a shower

cap. After applying it on the hair for 15 to 20, wash

the hair. By doing this, there will be no harm to

hair.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E acts as an effective natural hair

sunscreen. Add capsules of vitamin E in a spray

bottle and stir well. Spray on hair after bathing.

This prevents hair from getting dry and helps

improve the texture. Apart from this, you should

also keep some things in mind for your hair care.

For example, hair can also be protected with

scarves, umbrella and hats. Use scarves to avoid

hot winds.

BEAUTY LIES

IN THE EYES OF THE

BEHOLDER!

What does beauty mean to you?

Every one of us will have a different opinion and an

explanation for this. I might agree with your version

and, you might not with mine. High time we stop

personifying beauty just with physicality!

High time that we accept beauty in all shapes, sizes,

colours, and gender. High time we stop pretending

to be what we aren’t!

It has been three years since I’ve been into modelling

and acting. The journey hasn’t been full of roses.

Everything takes shape with time. Beauty for me is to

be confident and of course, I always like to be in the

limelight and look my best (who doesn’t). I never

deny that I want to showcase the best of myself.

A lot of times I’ve been asked

‘Why makeup?

Aren’t you happy with your skin?

Are you ashamed of showcasing how you are?

So, the only answer I have here is Makeup adds up to

your beauty and doesn’t become your beauty!

I love to do makeup and I’m not reluctant to show my

real skin and flaws. Good things come to those who

wait and care. I’ve always believed that you should let

ease and comfort ooze out of every pore of your

being, and another important point not to be

forgotten is your preferences. Always be yourself, be

sanguine, and never settle for less.

tremendously observe that I learn something every

day, whether that’s about myself or the world.

Being an artist, an influencer people look up to you

for

what do you do?

What you wear?

Your everyday regime?

And the list never ends...

We try to bring out the best of ourselves and never

disappoint the people who follow us. I have always

believed to do what excites you and pumps you up.

Investing in your skin, hair, personal health is again

something I’ve been asked about a lot, and I always

come up with telling people, it’s all upon you. If caring

for your skin gives you peace, which is a necessity

too, then why not.

Amidst the current scenario that has flipped our lives

to another level, there’s much of a dark cloud at

times that shadows us. But always try to look out for

the silver lining. and honestly, I try to make the best

of the scenario by investing all the time in myself and

spending most of it with my family.

Just do what you love and love what you do.

Be Beautiful and keep shining…

Beauty is a feeling,

Beauty is an emotion.

Beauty is a vibe,

Beauty is devotion.

If you feel beautiful, you look beautiful.

I devote a decent amount of time on myself,

whether that’s exercise, meditation, self-grooming,

or self-love. Always try to keep positive, be

expressive, and calm even in the most horrendous

situations as it all starts with self-love and

appreciation.

Every day, we get started with a new task, a new

concept, and of course, new expectations. Always

keen to work hard and give in the best possible, I

Lips say beauty

ery few people will know that there are no pores in the lips like the skin of the rest of the body have. Therefore,

they require proper nutrition and hydration. If you reduce it, it will call many kinds of problems. Great credit for

the beauty of the face goes to the

beautiful lips. The pink lips of any person add to

its beauty. This is why everyone wants

her lips to look beautiful. However, you

take full care of your face and hair,

but often forget about your lips in

the meantime when they need

special care. If you do not take

care of them, then they start

bursting black. Just as the body

needs healthy eating and proper

care for energy and young look,

similarly the lips also need adequate

care, if done with the right things,

then our lips are also beautiful,

healthy and stay pink.

The tone of the skin of our lips is also

different like the skin tone of our face. But

most people want their lips to be pink and soft

like rose petals. Such lips don't need to be found

naturally by all. But it is also not that those whose lips are not naturally pink and soft cannot make their lips like this.

Rosewater

Exfoliate your lips with rose water every

day. This will remove the crust of your

lips, dead cells and new fresh cells will

come out, which will make your lips look

moister and softer. For this, apply rose

water on cotton before sleeping at night

with light hands on your lips and when

the skin becomes soft, then lightly rub

it. This will remove dead cells. After this,

apply lip balm and sleep.

Beetroot juice

Beetroot not only works to increase

blood in the body but also works to give

pink colour to the skin. If you also want

to make your lips pink, then in the

morning mix 2 to 3 drops of coconut oil

in one teaspoon of beet juice. Apply the

prepared mixture on the lips with the

help of cotton and massage it lightly for

3 to 5 minutes.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil can also make lips pink and soft. Because it naturally maintains moisture in the skin. It works to lighten the

skin tone by removing the darkness of our skin. After cleansing the dead skin with rose water, you can massage the lips

with coconut oil instead of lip balm. Many women do not do lipstick removal after makeup removal while sleeping at

night. This causes great damage to the lips. Sleep after applying lip balm every night after removing lipstick.

After some successful trips and rides, he

approached the travelling bike companies to

associate with him. Here Nikhil got many challenges

as well but Nikhil is a warrior. He fought with them

and he deceived them. He got his first Triumph Tiger

for his longest riding track. Nikhil decides to ride

Kanyakumari to Kerala with this bike.

Currently, Nikhil announced about his personal life

where he shared about the relationship status with

Shanice. Nikhil is very serious about his relationship

and he always considers her opinions and

suggestions. You might be surprised Nikhil always

asks for his Instagram feeds. In other words,

Shanice always takes care of his personal &

professional things. Nikhil faced many times this

question to not reveal the truth about the

relationship. Nikhil gently answered he doesn't look

things through filters. Both of them are very

disciplined and aware of their zones. They always try

to keep their relationship aside from the

unnecessary controversies. They don't want to

entertain anyone with their relationship. Their

relationship really matters for both of them. The

reason behind hiding their relationship status was

not the assurance but they were willing to come in

a strong and settled position to accept the

responsibility of his and her followers before the

announcement.

Nikhil’s philosophy says the thing which you want in

your life desperately will come true but you should

have to look around yourself also. It is 1000% sure

nature has many surprising gifts for you. Whether

you like that or not it all depends on you but

sometimes you need that break to boost yourself.

The only mantra Nikhil and his team says is do

whatever you want to don’t restrict yourself from

anything. This life is amazing. We all must have to

live our each and every moment joyfully. Your good

time may take a little longer route but you have to

be calm and focused.

“You were such good friends and now you are in

a relationship, I know that you will still be

together in the future and that you will form a

beautiful family. All the best for the happy

couple”

Mantra Meditation A mantra is a syllable, word or phrase that is

repeated during meditation. Mantras can be spoken, chanted,

whispered or repeated in the mind. Most mantra meditation

techniques have two essential components: mindfulness meditation

and chanting of mantras.

Our brain processes millions of

thoughts throughout the day.

However, some subjects enter our

mind and continue to haunt

us. It can make you mentally

tired. For this reason, neither

you can focus on any work

nor find any solution for it.

Meditation is one of the

effective ways to relax the

mind.

Practicing meditation every

day is essential to keep the

mind calm and relaxed. This

not only helps in reducing

mental fatigue but also

prevents the mind from

wandering around.

Meditation gives you a

chance to self-analyse and helps to find

out what is going on in your mind that is

bothering and stressing you.

The mantra is most commonly used for

meditation. And it is also the most

powerful. This is the reason why the

practice of mantra meditation is found

in many traditions of the world and

from the perspective of secularism,

mantra meditation is also very

important. The Mantra Meditation is so

powerful that the person doing it gets

spiritual benefits along with spiritual

benefits. The Mantra Meditation is a

vast and complex study for Hindu and

Buddhism. The way to do this is not very

different but it is definitely that there

are many benefits of doing Mantra

Meditation with full attention.

What is mantra meditation?

Mantra meditation is the process of

calming your mind and focusing using a

piece of sound, word or sentence. The

mantra meditation is aimed at religious

and spiritual relaxation. Mantra

Meditation, one of the many forms of

yoga, is an essential practice, which

helps to deepen inner awareness. It is a

ritual used in many eastern religions

including Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh and

Jainism.

We sometimes recite mantras and

sometimes listen to them. Sometimes

they are repeated fast and sometimes

at a slow pace. However, when it

comes to meditation, mantras are

aimed not just at chanting but by paying

attention to your breath and increasing

concentration. Mantras act like a tool

to change consciousness. They have a

quality in each sound, each vibration

and they help you maintain your focus

in different states of mind. So, when

they are repeated with meditation, they

calm the mind.

Rules of meditation

Mainly the time of sun rise in the

morning is considered to be the most

appropriate for mediation, but you

don't need to choose the time of

morning. You can do meditation in the

evening or at any time of the day.

Practice in a quiet place where there is

no one to distract you carefully. Sit in a

comfortable position. Your seating

position also makes a difference. Feel

yourself calm, relaxed and stable.

Meditation means meditation.

Therefore, if you lose your focus while

practicing it, it will not be successful.

You mustn't have anything that

distracts you during meditation such as

phones, children, pets, TV etc. Keep

your spine straight and sit upright. Do

not over-stretch your shoulders and

neck or keep it loose. Keep it in the

normal state. Try to have an empty

stomach during exercise. Now close

your eyes and focus your attention on

anything. It can be any object, the face

of God or any other thing. Wear loose

and comfortable clothes. Now chant

any mantra you like, or the mantra you

remember or in which you believe. Take

deep breaths along with chanting the

mantra and keep going. During this, pay

attention to your breath and do not let

the focus go away.

Posture science

There is a very deep connection in

mantra and science. In which posture

you are sitting with the chanting of

mantras, it also matters a lot. Just as

mantras have a scientific basis, in the

same way posture also has a scientific

basis.

If you understand the posture simply,

then it is the yoga of the hands. By

balancing the energy that is in our

hands and fingers, we can

stay healthy.

Yoga Posture is based on the

basic principle of Ayurveda.

According to Ayurveda,

Vata, Pitta and Kapha - the

body remains healthy only by

the balance of these three

elements. Imbalance in

them means disease or

malaise in the body. Just as

yoga balances the three

elements by generating

energy in our body, in the

same way yoga postures

also work. We can balance

Vata, Pitta and Kapha by using the

magnetic waves in our hands.

We all know that our body is made up

of 5 elements - fire, air, water, earth and

ether. The fingers of our hands

symbolize these elements. Due to

imbalance in these elements, vata, pitta

and phlegm also become imbalanced

and they become the reason for our

illness and unhealthy, because due to

imbalance in them, our immunity

decreases. The most effective way to

balance these elements is Yoga

Posture!

When the finger, which represents the

element, is brought into contact with

the thumb, then that element comes

into balance. The posture creates

electromagnetic waves in the body,

thereby balancing the related element

in the body.

Om Mantra

Om is the most powerful and important

mantra among all, which you can chant.

This universal mantra generates

powerful and positive vibrations in your

lower abdomen. It is often associated

with the Shanti Mantra, which in

Sanskrit means peace.

Future

of

electric

car in

India

For the last several decades, the

number of vehicles in the major metros

of the country has been increasing

continuously. As a result, people of

these cities are vulnerable to pollution

and are in the grip of many frightening

diseases. Simultaneously, rising prices

of diesel and petrol are troubling the

common man and excessive amount of

foreign exchange is eroding.

The concern of scientists is always

increasing to deal with these problems.

To prevent this, we are imagining a car

that does not have a silencer, runs on

electricity, becomes a battery charging

station instead of a petrol pump, the

way we charge our mobile. How much

joy will be there when these vehicles

start galloping on the streets, smoke

will not rise and there will be no

discussion of pollution. Many car

companies are trying to realize this

dream. If we start driving half of the

vehicles on the roads with electricity,

then there will be neither noise

pollution nor air pollution on the roads.

Due to this effort, the metros will be

transformed.

The WHO reported that 14 out of the

world’s most polluted,15 cities are from

India. The city-specific action plans will

be developed for all 102 reported cities

that exceed national air quality

safeguards. Moreover, this bad air

quality has been observed and intake

39 | www.theim.in

by not only metro cities of India but it

involves some Himalayan states too.

So, the WHO makes India think about air

pollution very sternly.

Price is a big factor

Over 55 per cent of petrol-diesel cars

sold in India cost an average of Rs 5.6

lakh, while the price of electric cars

that can travel long distances on the

highway is many times higher than the

average price of these petrol-diesel

cars, so near It is very difficult to say

that in future people will choose

electric cars in large numbers. To make

these cars accessible to the general

public, the government will have to put

a lot of emphasis on reducing their

prices.

Some benefits in terms of security

Many efforts have been made to reduce

the weight of the electric vehicle to

increase its capacity. Despite these

efforts, an electric vehicle is heavier

than its equivalent petrol-powered

vehicle due to the higher density and

weight of the electric batteries, and

therefore has less interior space and

stops more distance when braking.

However, in a collision, people in heavy

vehicles are hurt less than those in

light vehicles, so the extra weight

certainly brings some benefit from the

safety point of view.

There are also many challenges in

adopting electric vehicle in India in

future. It is very difficult to adopt things

except for our old things. It takes some

time at the beginning of any work or to

fully accept something. The way people

now rely solely on petrol dieselpowered

vehicles. In the coming

decade, likewise, we will start relying

on electric vehicles. The main objective

of expanding electric vehicles in India

is that in future people do not have to

face the health problem caused by

pollution and also save their money.

Over the past few years, trends suggest

an increased interest among the

general public for electric cars

compared to electric two-wheelers

and petrol/diesel cars, as seen in

Google Trends, which is expected to

gain a bit of popularity ahead. Engaged

in India, so that this step of bringing the

EVS taken by the Government to India

can be completed. Another major

challenge to prevent the adoption of

EVs on a large scale today is that this

range is quite limited, disrupting use

cases for electric vehicles. Adjusts for

more cost-effective batteries that

provide a better range. Once the

performance reality is set, electric

vehicles will not back down.

Lithium

ion battery

Lithium-ion batteries

used in electric cars

remain the obstacle in the

development of these

cars in India. The metals

used in the manufacture

of lithium-ion batteries

will have to be imported

on a large scale to India.

The metals used in the

manufacture of these

batteries, such as lithium,

cobalt, manganese and

nickel, are stored in many

different countries.

Bolivia and Chile account

for 60 per cent of the

world's reserves, while 60

per cent of the cobalt

reserves are in the Congo.

All of these metals do

some important work in

lithium-ion batteries,

such as lithium charging

the battery, while cobalt

protects the battery from

overheating. Lithium-ion

battery prices are heavily

affected due to the low

availability of these

minerals.

COLOUR

OF

PEACE

Colours, they are everywhere, on the

walls, in a painting, in your hands and

almost every place else. Life without

colours is like a plate without food,

nothing but tasteless.

Stress can sneak up on you. It doesn’t

take much to leave us feeling anxious

and stressed—it could be as simple

as feeling busy at work, or just feeling

like you don’t have enough time in the

day to get everything done. The good

news is that you can help to keep your

stress levels low simply by using the

right paint colours in your home.

Colours have the capacity of pacifying

our mind and stimulating our energy.

Our mood, health, happiness is all

affected by the colours of our house.

Colours can have emotional,

intellectual, materialistic, intuitive

and many other types of influence on

humans

You don’t have to worry about trends

to have a beautiful home. Colour

trends will come and go. The people

who live in a home make it beautiful

by choosing colours that reflect their

preferences and personalities. The

trick is to blend the colours you like

into a pleasing combination. Choosing

colour combinations is one of the

most intimidating steps for

beginners. Colour has the power to

change the shape and size of

furnishings, as well as the shape and

size of the room itself. Selecting

colours is not difficult if you equip

yourself with some basic information

about colour and its effects.

41 | www.theim.in

Feel fresh with white

White walls in the living room certainly

don’t mean keeping things devoid of

colour and personality. Quite the

opposite! By choosing, then sticking to,

a striking colour palette, white walls

provide an excellent backdrop to

showcase and highlight your style.

White walls in the living room certainly

don’t mean keeping things devoid of

colour and personality. Quite the

opposite! By choosing, then sticking to,

a striking colour palette, white walls

provide an excellent backdrop to

showcase and highlight your style.

White is an often-overlooked colour for

walls. Maybe it’s because many of us,

having grown up with white walls in our

childhood homes, see white walls as a

poor excuse for the absence of colour

options.

The red colour makes you feel

energetic

Red is the colour of passion and a very

energizing shade. It is considered to be

exciting or even an aggressive colour

and can evoke strong emotions. The

effect that the colour red has on us is

physical; it stimulates us and even

raises the pulse rate, giving the

impression that time is passing much

faster than it is. It’s alive and friendly,

but can also sometimes be perceived as

aggressive and demanding. Red is the

colour of passion and a very energizing

shade. It is considered to be exciting or

even an aggressive colour and can

evoke strong emotions. It is best used

in entertainment areas such as the

living room, family room, and dining

room. Because it is such a bold colour,

use it with caution. It can easily become

overwhelming.

42 | www.theim.in

Live in peace with green

Green brings a soothing element to any space. For

example, a lime green living room is a case as such.

By using a range of tones in the living room, it

prevents clashes and brings harmony between the

shades. Placing artwork on a picture ledge means

the display can easily change without having to rehang

anything. Trust the green living room ideas and

design for something unique and different as home

decor

Green is such a versatile colour for home decor. It’s

no longer limited to those avocado coloured

bathroom suites because now we have gorgeous

greens from muted sage tones to rich jewel tones of

jade and teal. Tones of green can switch any space

from relaxing to elegant, to the fun. A dynamic and

refreshing colour, green comes in many different

shades, from the formal and cool sage to bright and

cheerful emerald or deep and relaxing teal. And

green goes well with everything – whites, creams,

and greys, all the staple living room colours.

Blue define your intellect

Blue is the colour of the mind or the intellect, and

research suggests that it is the world’s favourite

colour. Unlike red, it affects us mentally rather than

physically and is essentially a soothing colour that

will help us to think more clearly and aid

concentration. If you prefer to have blue throughout

your home, there’s a fair chance that you view your

house as an oasis of calm and tranquillity in an

otherwise hectic and demanding world. It may also

mean that you’re a bit of an introvert and prefer to

stop indoors with your cool and calming shade

adorning the walls, relaxing you and protecting you

from the world outside.

The

colour of meditative

It’s doesn’t matter how big, small or corner Puja room. Indian apartments are

mostly crunched for space. But if you ‘re among the lucky ones to be blessed with

a separate space for meditation at home. Puja room or prayer room is and must

be one of the most auspicious and sacred rooms of your home. Pooja rooms are

a very sacred and crucial part for some house. It is a necessary part of the house

for some.

As a sun colour, yellow propagates happiness, optimism and self-definition. For

centuries now, yellow has been considered a sacred colour and it also has

spiritual significance, making ideal to set the meditative tone in the pooja room.

Vaastu shastra recommends that a pooja room face the north-east direction to

harness the maximum energy of the sun. Yellow pooja room paint colours

facilitate this process.

Interior

designing after corona pandemic

Life has come to a halt in

lockdown due to the worldwide

corona epidemic. However, it is

important in terms of health and

life safety. People's houses have

turned into offices. While working

from home, many people have

created a virtual office-like

environment in one part of the

house. Previously, where only

information technology, i.e. IT

sector, had the facility to do work

from people, now the marketing

sector has also been limited in it.

Under the restrictions of not being

able to get out, people imprisoned

in their small flats or small houses

understand a lot of things. At the

same time, architects’ experts

around the world are looking at it

from another perspective.

According to him, after the end of

the corona epidemic, there will be

a lot of changes at home and

office.

Now home is more preferred

than apartment

A large number of people live in

tall buildings. But it is not good for

health and cleanliness. Elevators,

lift buttons, and neighbours living

nearby can infect each other. At

the same time, if the flat does not

have a balcony then it becomes

more difficult. In such a situation,

in the future people will like to live

in a small house instead of a flat,

where there are a courtyard and

terrace. The main purpose of the

house will be safe. Urbanization

will reduce and people will return

to smaller villages and towns.

Bunker construction will increase,

in which people will also get

training to stay safe in the event of

a disaster. There will be buildings

that will have stronghold-like

security.

The underground floor will

increase

Underground floors will increase

in homes and buildings. It will be

used to store water and food. The

houses will be designed in such a

way that they can withstand

natural disasters and man-made

disasters. Till now, the trend of

making open plane space,

entrance, living room, dining

space and kitchen together was

going on, but now this trend will

end. The entrance and living area

of the house will be different in the

new trend. People will keep

shoes, clothes and their

belongings in the entrance.

This may be hard to imagine but

your home can be very if not

totally, self-sufficient. Food,

water, and shelter are all we

need. And with a beautiful and

healthy home on top of the

necessities, staying at home

becomes easier. Whether in

raised beds in the yard or hanging

from the wall or in planters,

gardens are sure to become more

popular. While this may not be

widespread in the future of interior

design, but if you have the means

and desire, add a bunker and you

will kick up your self-sufficiency to

a whole new level.

The importance of interior design

and mental and physical health

will become more prevalent than

ever. Designers will need to

consider how we can assist in

mental health through interior

environments, using lighting,

materials, sound and acoustics.

In homes, spaces will become

more flexible. “We will have to

consider what elements of design

we can use to protect the public’s

health, including materials,

distancing, physical separation or

proximity, and interaction with

objects.

46 | www.theim.in

Major changes will be seen in the office

Changes will also be seen in the design of

the office. As such most of the office doors

will be open or there will be increased use

of doors with inappropriate open

technology. It may be that the sound

technology is used instead of the button in

the lift. The office space can be divider with

no open floor. Withdrawal and sanitization

will be more focused. The size of the living

room may increase so that chairs can be

placed a short distance away. Even in the

working space, the distance between

people can be kept more than before.

Experts believe that new technologies can

be developed for video conferencing,

meeting online, etc.

If trends continue, the next architectural

revolution in office design may see the

mass removal of employees from their

traditional workplace, whether through

automation or, as discussed here, remote

working. This transition from collective to

remote working, and the architectural

considerations it will mean for living and

office spaces, old and new, was evident

long before the current coronavirus

pandemic cast it into the public

consciousness. That said, this global

forced experiment in working-from-home

may ironically be a catalyst for a healthier

future relationship between us and our

workplace.

Restaurant

The forecast suggests that we will see

more open kitchens after the pandemic, as

they promote "transparency". Surfaces

built or clad in anti-microbial materials will

also "be a given".

While many might think the second

forecast of contactless dining is "a given",

in reality, it is more nuanced, argues the

report, as nearly half of survey

respondents voted that it is "a fad".

Instead of contactless, Roar uses the term

"contact-light", which would see physical

menus and cash payments become rare "if

not extinct", alongside communal

condiments like salt and pepper.

Restrooms are where the most change will

be seen. Referred to as "a vital

battleground in the war against infection",

the report imagines that most bathroom

doors will be removed except private

cubicles, and those that remain will be

open and closed by foot or via wireless

sensors.
