With its function fundamental to the entire company, this organisational unit realises
contracts concerning railways in western Poland, which are the essential source of
sales of the company’s services.
Recent major investment tasks realised by the Unit:
• Improvement of an LPG terminal in Sławków;
• Rebuilding and modernisation of the Berlin - Poznań - Warsaw - Terespol E-20 line:
– Liquidation of Drzewce station and transformation into a passenger train stop;
– Rebuilding and modernisation of Rzepin station on the E-20 line;
• Rebuilding of the Zgorzelec - Wrocław - Opole - Kraków - Medyka E-30 line:
– Route Opole Zachodnie - Dąbrowa Niemodlińska, Przecza branching post;
– Route Lipki - Oława, tracks No. 1 and 2;
– Route Mrozów - Miękinia, tracks No. 1 and 2;
– Route Oława - Lizawice, tracks No. 1 and 2;
– Route Tomaszów Bolesławiecki - Bolesławiec, track No. 2;
– Modernisation of Opole Zachodnie railway station.
Present Current realisations:
• Rebuilding of the E-30 line: Zgorzelec - Wrocław - Opole - Kraków - Medyka:
– Liquidation of Dąbrowa Niemodlinska railway station with a change into
a passenger stop;
– Route Przedmoście Św. - Środa Śląska, tracks No. 1 and 2;
– Route Miękinia - Przedmoście Św., tracks No. 1 and 2.
