The idea is for a roofcoating that reduces the amount of infra-redradiation absorbed by the coating, therebyreducing the amount of heat passed through intothe building. This modification to the coating willadd nothing to the weight of the paint as we willbe modifying the pigments and additives alreadyin use. This is an important point – a number ofroof coatings currently offered on the marketrequire multiple applications which can lead tosome alarming weights being needed to becarried by the roof.Application of the paint would be by conventionalmeans, so there would not be any additional orparticular specific requirements and existingcolour schemes would be honoured, so therewould not be any obvious difference. Theincreased cost of the modified coating will beinsignificant when compared with application(which has to be carried out anyway).To summarise, Alltimes Coatings are continuingto have success with the Advantage GrapheneEnhanced Top Coat for steel roofs and we expectthis success to continue.
