When it comes to powder conveying, Gema
says it is the market leaders with its dense
phase SIT pump technology. With more than
800 SIT pumps in operation in the UK alone,
it has become the benchmark product due to
its efficiency and simple design that can be
easily maintained and operated. However,
with the focus starting to move towards
advanced automation the Gema R&D team
also recognised the need to update and
redevelop the traditional technology that still
forms a large part of what they do and
brought them to where they are today. This
allows the Gema sales teams to offer their
customers a range of options when working to
specify a new powder coating facility. The
Gema All-in-One system has been developed
to bridge the gap between traditional injector
technology and the SIT inline dense phase
pump technology.
The All-in-One combines a completely
redesigned powder pump body with the gun
control unit to give a compact system that
offers extremely high quality coating and
powder application control. The All-in-One fits
directly into the Gema OptiCentre platform
without the need for additional gun control or
pump cabinets as found on typical traditional
systems and comes equipped with a range of
standard features:
• No pneumatic pipework associated with
traditional venturi systems – this removes any
time lag when triggering the gun making it an
excellent option when using robots
• Built in FlowCheck powder flow sensor
to detect any powder blockages
• PowerClean function with bi-directional
cleaning through the injector body
• Built in Gema DVC and PCC
technology for best possible powder transfer
efficiency and consistent powder output
through the gun
