Founded in 2003 in the city of Maringá (Brazil),
Maquira is a Brazilian company dedicated to the
development, production and commercialization of
efficient and economically attractive products for the
dental area.
Maquira started its activities with a single product:
the retainer box. Today, in addition to expertise in
the field of plastic injection, the company operates
in other segments of the dental market, such as
composites, glass ionomer cements, materials for
dental printing, biological indicators, among others.
In 2016, Maquira acquired the company BM4, which was
founded in 2012, in the city of Palhoça (Brazil). After years
of research and development, its first products emerged:
the Bleaching Power for whitening teeth and the line of
desensitizers named Painless that have a focus of interest
in the area of high aesthetics.
BM4 has become a reference in the whitening area, creating
opportunities for action in other interfaces in the aesthetics
segment.
Following the concept of continuous improvement
and with all the investments made in the company,
Maquira now counts on a dental industrial park
classified among the most modern in Latin America .
The manufacturing plant contains 12,000 m²,
which allows Maquira to have more efficiency in its
production process, ensuring full satisfaction of our
customers.
Maquira incorporated the brand Hemospon into its portfolio
also in 2016 and started to operate in another segment of
the dental market, namely hemostatic sponges.
