READERRESULTS
Back in August, many of our readers competed
at Equifest which is one of the largest horse
events in the equestrian calendar. A five day
horse show held at the East of England
Showground for all horse lovers and one of the
biggest competing events in the UK. We
invited our readers to share with us some of
their results and photo’s so we could celebrate
their achievements.
Lead Rein Concours Winners 2018 - Briars Aspen aka Harry and Rose
Danielle Bishop and Cotes Black Jack
This was the duo’s first time at Equifest together and Danielle
was thrilled with the result, 1 st in the Dales Gelding Class.
Owner Tracey Paskins told us “It was such a buzz to stand in a huge arena to
hear them announce the placing's in reverse order. What a superstar pony he
was and he just loves the big atmospheres. He went in first and did an amazing
trot round. Then the lap of honour at the end was just fantastic and going out
down the centre line to lots of music and clapping was amazing and an
experience my daughter Rose and I will never forget!”
Ava’s mum, Jeavon Steward told northants
horse tarder magazine “I am so proud of all the
hard work this 9 year old puts in and love she
had for her boy at his only his 5th ever show”.
Dani told us “We also entered the Ridden Foreign
Breeds class with a variety of different horses
competing, and we managed to get 2 nd place in
this class! This took us forward to the open ridden
world breeds supreme championships later on in
the week; unfortunately we didn't get placed but
'Joe' was incredible throughout all the classes
promoting the Haflinger breed at its best. I am
extremely proud of him.”
