‘Jasper’<br />
I got Jasper directly from the trainers yard as a 4 year old, 7 years ago. Six<br />
months after I got him he finished 4th in the Seib R2R class at Burnley and since<br />
then he has also competed and won in sidesaddle, Affiliated Elementary<br />
dressage and local shows. Jasper has also competed in a 80cm one day event<br />
and participated in team events for<br />
local riding clubs. Jasper is<br />
also a fabulous hunter and is<br />
especially good at gate<br />
shutting!<br />

‘Joey’<br />
I had previously been an exercise rider for racehorses and I always had a love<br />
for the breed. When Joey came to live at Welham Stud (where I worked) it<br />
started a new chapter in my life. I never thought I could own such a magnificent<br />
animal and from the first day, we just clicked. Yes, Joey tries my patience at<br />
times and yes he pushes his boundaries on occasion, but he is my soul mate<br />
and is so full of character. Joey and I have been able to experience many new<br />
things together. I have completed my first year of showing with him in 2018 and<br />
we picked up 3 trophies with South Kilworth Riding Club, Best Condition, Sports<br />
Horse and overall Ring Champion. We competed at Equifest in a Sports Horse<br />
and a TB class, being placed in both! We still have some work to do, but I am<br />
super excited about what the future holds for us both… together as a team.<br />

Emily Setchell and Upton Sovereign<br />
‘Sov’<br />
Sov<br />
Now 17 years old, Sov team chases with the Fox Grant Thrusters Intermediate<br />
Team each week throughout the season. Sov makes light work of eventing and<br />
pops around the 100cm classes. He has a successful county show and RoR record<br />
and came 11th in this years Harborough Race Ride. Last year we competed at the<br />
Silver Spur where he came an impressive 9th out of 45 starters. There is nothing<br />
this lad doesn’t do!<br />
