Preparation
Ingredientes
- 1 kg de açúcar
- 400 g de margarina
- 6 ovos inteiros
- 2 potes ou 600 g de mel de cana
- 1 copo de vinho madeira
- Sumo de 1 limão
- Rapas do limão (somente a parte
verde)
- 1 colher (sobremesa) de
bicarbonato de sódio
- 1 colher (sobremesa) de canela
em pó
- 1 colher (chá) de tempero misto
ou de pimenta - branca moída
- 1 colher (sobremesa) de
fermento para bolos
- 250g de passas
- 125g de frutas cristalizadas
- 2 copos de leite
- 1 copo de chocolate em pó (não
usar achocolatado)
- 250g de nozes (metade deve ser
moída para colocar na massa)
Preparação
Junte a margarina ao açúcar até obter
uma massa cremosa;
Adicione os ovos inteiros e mexa
novamente;
Acrescente todos os ingredientes
secos e, aos poucos, adicione os
líquidos e bata muito bem, colocando
por últimos as passas e a nozes
picadas;
Unte as formas (4 ou 5 formas) e
despeje a massa até a metade, pois o
bolo cresce muito;
Por fim jogue algumas nozes sobre
a massa e leve ao fogo médio por 30
minutos;
Deixe mais 15 minutos em fogo baixo;
Tire do forno e deixe esfriar bem ainda
dentro da forma;
Enrole em papel vegetal.
In a pan, bring the molasses
to a medium temperature and
then add the margarine.
Gentlly add the other
ingredients listed above and
keep stirring.
Add the crystallised fruits.
Put the mixture in a bowl,
cover it and leave it resting for
3 days.
Remove the mixture, form a
ball and then flatten it.
Place the cake in the oven for
25 minutes (170 ºC).
After the allotted time, remove
from the oven and let it rest
for 10 minutes.
Remove from the baking pan
and decorate it with sliced
almonds.
