TOOGOOLAWAH BOWLS<br />
Thursday November 26 Gerrit and Linda Winkeler, Tom Allen and John Greany travelled to<br />
Yarraman for their Pub Day. Had 2 wins but not enough score to bring home the bacon.<br />
No bowls were played at home on Thursday.<br />
Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November, Gerrit Winkeler , Len Smyth and Tom Allen<br />
together with a substitute player Alan, took part in <strong>The</strong> Esk 4’s - $2000.00 Championship over<br />
2 days. We were good enough to take out our first game but came up against some tough<br />
opposition. Regardless we had a great time. Thanks Esk for the invite.<br />
Also on Sunday at home Cindy Mills, Ian Bradow and Keith McWhirter defeated Wayne<br />
Thompson, John Greany and Lyn McWhirter in a game of triples. Raffle finally went to Ian<br />
Bradow with the spoils shared.<br />
Special Note’s On Friday 4th <strong>December</strong> the Queensland Caravan Club will be visiting us for<br />
a game. We need a few helpers on the day. Play will be 12.00pm for 12.30pm start. If you can<br />
play , all the better.<br />
Also on that day the Toogoolawah State School Staff will be having a roll up from about 3.30<br />
