Dermalogica Retinol Clearing Oil
During the season of overindulgence, you might
find your skin turns on you. On one such evening,
I turned to Dermalogica’s Retinol Clearing Oil to
see if it could be my ambulance at the bottom of
the cliff.
Six drops of the smoothing night oil soaked
into the skin with ease. It’s the salicylic acid that
is set to clear breakouts, while the time-released
retinol’s role is to deal with fine lines, wrinkles
and hyperpigmentation. (It’s actually a big deal to
have both these ingredients in one product.)
The next day, my skin was calm. It was no
longer the bumpy situation that felt on the brink
of a takeover. That’s enough for me!

Jeuneora Beauty Boost Vegan
Collagen Activator Capsules
I am not often tempted to try new products,
but I had heard collagen was good for your
nails and mine happened to be looking a little
worse for wear.
Beauty Boost is Jeuneora’s first collagen
alternative for vegans, vegetarians and those
allergic to seafood. Being gluten-intolerant, I
was surprised to find Beauty Boost’s wheat
grain content caused me no issues at all.
After 30 days’ use, my nails were feeling
stronger. Around the work table, my
colleagues commented on how great my
skin is looking, and I have noticed a new
plumpness (not a ‘fatty’ look) that actually
looks good.
I no longer have the wrinkle lines on my
sternum either. It may be a combination of
my twice-daily moisturising of that area, but I
expect collagen-including ingredients (as well
as hyaluronic acid, gotu kola and vitamin B)
have all helped.
I am keen to keep taking these to see
further progress.
