as the grounds had a Peter
Pan themed trail at the
time (pictured above) and
JM Barrie, the author of
Peter Pan, left the rights to
it to GOSH in 1929. Visitors
were given the opportunity
to donate to GOSH Charity
when prebooking tickets online
and special Peter Pan or Tinkerbell
cookies were sold in aid of the charity
at the takeaway food outlets on site.

those looking to keep up their garden pride, find
inspiration or get advice, Surrey Gardens Trust’s
Winter Lectures are a great resource that you can
access from home, over Zoom for just £6 per
lecture. On selected Saturdays from 16 January to
24 April, garden experts including Sir Roderick
Floud, Michael Thurlow, and Susan Campbell,
will be sharing their wealth of knowledge on
such topics as kitchen gardens, cutting
gardens, and houseplants.
