(65) virtueller Events wollen
diese mit einer Präsenzveranstaltung
verknüpfen. Das ergibt
die Studie der International
Association of Exhibitions
and Events (IAEE) und
des Centers for Exhibition Industry
Research (CEIR). Dazu
CEIR-Forschungsdirektorin
Nancy Drapeau: „Hier gibt es
momentan viele Experimente.
Die Inhalte und Geschäftsmodelle
für virtuelle Events sind
noch in der Entwicklungsphase.
Dabei ist ihr Anlass immer
der gleiche; über 80 Prozent aller
Verantwortlichen wollen ein
größeres Publikum erreichen.“
Die IAEE Virtual Event Study
gibt es kostenlos für IAEE-Mitglieder
und kostet 295 USD für
Nichtmitglieder.
A lot of experiments
■ Study. More than a majority (59 percent) of
past and (65 percent) of future virtual event organizers
say their virtual events are affiliated with
a physical event, according to the Virtual Event
Study from the International Association of Exhibitions
and Events (IAEE) in collaboration with the
Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR).
CEIR Research Director Nancy Drapeau comments:
“A lot of experimentation is happening in
this area. Content and the business model for
virtual events are evolving. At the same time, the
reason for launching a virtual event is consistent;
more than eight out of 10 past and future virtual
event organizers are striving to reach a larger audience.”
IAEEs Virtual Event Study is now available
and costs $295 to non-members.
