Il decoro oro è istintivamente associato al classico e alla tradizione…<br />
La collezione di piatti Sparkling vuole rompere questo stereotipo,<br />
perché anche quanto c’è di più classico può essere reinterpretato<br />
e reso più contemporaneo. L’oro dato a pennello o la foglia d’oro<br />
applicata a caldo viene qui sostituita da un perlage di gocce d’oro di<br />
diverse dimensioni, date in modo casuale sulla superfice trasparente<br />
del vetro soffiato. Ne nasce una serie di piatti dotati di una luminosità<br />
propria ma mai preponderante. Questi oggetti sono pensati per<br />
abbinarsi in mix&match con la porcellana, totalmente bianca o, al<br />
massimo, caratterizzata da piccoli decori colorati, perché è in questo<br />
abbinamento che esprimono il loro massimo: la esaltano, dandole<br />
luce, senza rubarle la scena.<br />
The gold decoration is instinctively associated with classic and<br />
tradition ... The Sparkling plates collection wants to break this<br />
stereotype, because even what is more classic can be reinterpreted<br />
and made more contemporary. The gold hand-given with brush<br />
or the gold leaf applied by hand is here replaced by a perlage of<br />
gold drops of different sizes, randomly given on the transparent<br />
surface of the blown glass. The result is a series of dishes with<br />
their own but never overwhelming brightness. These objects are<br />
designed to be mixed & matched with porcelain, totally white or, at<br />
the most, characterized by small colored decorations, because it is<br />
in this combination that they express their maximum: they enhance<br />
it, giving it light, without stealing the scene.<br />
