Our Hospital<br />
The Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital provides high-quality healthcare, working with leading<br />
consultants to prevent, diagnose and treat various medical conditions.<br />
Our dedicated Endoscopy Unit performs a wide range of camera-led procedures to investigate and<br />
therapeutically treat conditions. We offer state of the art imaging using wireless screens and brand<br />
new Olympus 290 series endoscopes.<br />
Typical procedures we perform include:<br />
• Colonoscopy and Flexible Sigmoidoscopy<br />
• Gastroscopy<br />
• PEG (Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)<br />
• ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde<br />
Cholangio-Pancreatography)<br />
• Oesophageal stenting/dilatation.<br />
Your visit<br />
Your procedure will be arranged in conjunction with your consultant’s office and the hospital team<br />
will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have. You will have a private en-suite bedroom<br />
for the duration of your stay and your allocated nurse and consultant will ensure that you are well<br />
looked after, feeling comfortable and supported throughout your visit. Most Endoscopy is completed<br />
as a day case procedure and your results will be explained to you before you return home.<br />
