ADULT SUMMER CRAFT CAMP
Bring a project to work on, make friends, enjoy great company and get help if you
need it. This is for crafters of all types: painting, junk journaling, needle work, mixed
media, etc. .Bring your own supplies and a snack or drink if you plan to spend the day.

JAM SESSION/SING ALONG
Join us if you play an instrument and/or sing! This is a casual group
that you can attend as your time permits. Each person gets a turn to
pick and lead a song and others play along. This is a free get together
that takes place on Monday’s from 4:00-6:00pm at the Montrose
Senior Center located at 1800 Pavilion Drive. Call Cindy at 252-4884 if
you have questions. Spectators who enjoy listening to music are also
welcome to attend.
OPEN LINE DANCING
Learn how to perform line dance steps and receive dance
description with the counts and formation.

We will take a tour of Endless Endeavor Winery/Bed & Breakfast and
then visit and taste at Black Bridge, Azura Cellars, and Qutori Wines.

Lyle Nichols Designs, Steve Kentz Sculptures and Plum
Creek Winery - Palisade
Lyle has been turning discarded items into art for decades and appeared
on an episode of America Pickers. We will visit Plum Creek Winery where
Lyle’s chardonnay chicken and galloping horse reside. Steve Kentz has
been a stone sculpture for 35 years. He does abstract, wildlife, figurative
and stylized art.

Silverton – Mayflower Mill and The San Juan County Historical
Society Mining Heritage Center Tours plus lunch
and shopping in Silverton
The Mining Heritage Center & 1902 Jail is a world class, three-story,
14,000-square-foot center that interprets the local mining history We
will take a tour of the Mayflower Mill and see how gold and silver were
processed.

Gunnison River Float trip – Scenic River Tours (Gunnison)
This is a wonderful first time rafting experience with easy
waves. During the third hour, we enjoy a little more action as
we navigate the Whitewater Park and tackle Mr. Big rapid.
