Often the knitted piece will look entirelydifferent than that in the originalpattern. In this issue, we dojust that with the Jay Sweater,originally knit up in Fibra NaturaKingston Tweed, Cindy O'Malleyhas knit this colorwork sweaterusing Universal Yarn MerinoMist - soft and airy. See how herthoughts on the changes. Usingblack, gray, and white, the JaySweater looks so very different.Cindy also changed the color ofthe Fresh Berry Tee to a strongershade of pink and purple colorwayusing Cotton Supreme yarn, givingit a bolder look. Knitting is aboutthe joy in experimenting with yarnand color!I hope this letterfinds youin good health.Cindy has taken her leftover Cotton Supreme Wavesyarn to her loom to see what the 'waves' in the colorwould look like in a baby blanket.The result is beautiful! The yarnmakes the 'waves' do all thecolor changes, it's so nice whenprojects are simplified whilekeeping the wow factor!Another exciting feature hereis how Charles Voth plays withLina yarn, a linen-cotton blend,and Whisper Lace, a wool-silkblend, both by Fibra Natura toknit up a fresh summer top. Thistop also includes an interestingparallelogram patterned stitchas an embellishment.
