First Year Dorm Report by Andrew Reeves
Euan “Llama” Cameron Euan
has found a solid place in the
dorm structure, over the short
space of time he has been coming
to kings. He is coming to
Kings from Rotorua and is the first
of his family to come here. He is
in 9A5 and plays water polo as a
summer sport and he made the
9B side. He is currently trialling for
hockey as a winter sport. Euans
interests include plane spotting
and maintaining his Plane Spotting
blog's standard.

his horror, Kurt had already finished
Daniel “Mexican” Easton Daniel is one of the calmer members of the dorm who stays
in the loop but does not get up to mischief. He is in 9R and is excelling at many core
subjects and his chosen language. He was the third in the dorm in the One Tree Hill run
with a time of 67 mins. Daniel has come from Pukekohe is the eldest child in his family.
Daniel has previously played representative hockey and is currently trialling for hockey
as a winter sport. He is also an excellent middle distance runner and therefore does
athletics as a summer sport.
Matthew “Koala” Holden Matthew Holden has had a solid primary education. At a
young age he attended King's Preparatory and in Year 7 moved schools to ACG before
enrolling to attend King's College. He is in 9A4 and fits in well with the his class and has
adapted well to the College. He does clay target shooting as a summer sport and Cycling
and squash as his primary winter activities.
Baden “Badgertron”Mannering Baden has taken a strong liking to the dorm atmosphere
and has bonded well with the rest of the dorm. He is in 9A3 and is excelling at
many of his core subjects. 9A3 is one of the classes that has done Maori this term and
has taken well to this subject. Baden does clay target shooting as a summer sport and
is currently trialling for hockey as his first choice of winter sport.
Andrew “Harvard” Reeves Andrew has take quite a shine to the dorm life and the
other members of the dorm. Andrew is in 9A2 has excelled at his chosen language and
English. He is currently trialling for the under 15 A and has made the first hockey side
as a winter sport and played for the 6A2 side in cricket in the summer. He is currently
in the competitive clay target shooting team.
Marzellus “Slow” Salaivao Marzellus has obviously made a huge contribution to the
House sporting community with his great achievement of junior athletics champion. He
is in 9A4 and has taken a liking to the subject of Spanish. Marzellus is currently trialling
for the 5 th grade rugby team. Marzellus is a genuinely well liked member of the dorm.
