Architectural Assistant, gda - Gołąbek Daleczko Architects, Wrocław, Poland
The Sensor Tech Office Building was designed for company specialized in heang,
venlaon and air condioning suppliers. Situated in Wrocław, Poland between two
parcels qualified as a residenal zone, the project presented several challenges
mostly due to character zone planning guidelines. The narrow, long property, the
limited height of the building and restricons about the length of the facades or the
shape of the rooop were the most notable. The building’s form takes its influence
from these limitaons while standing out at the same, being an example of elegant
and contemporary architecture. The front glass facade creates a sense of lightness
in the whole solidity of the building and the green details in window frames, easily
visible from the sidewalk and main road highlight the major color theme of the
Company.
The finishing elevaon materials, such as light grey plaster and fiber cement boards,
were applied as neutral and delicate, to avoid the feeling of overwhelming that could
affect the neighbourhood.
The office building features private office spaces, conference room and the director’s
office, stuff rooms, restrooms and ulity rooms. There are also plans of expansion by
adding the producon hall on the back of the parcel in the near future.
