SulSul Readers,
My gran used to say “a lot can happen in a
year” and boy, was she right. This month we
celebrate our one-year birthday here at
SimmedUp and what a year it has been. A
year ago, I left a comment on SimSimmerly’s
Tweet about a Sims magazine and here we
are today, a large team of people that love
The Sims and creating content. This year has
been a year of growth. Our team is bigger,
the magazine is bigger and we have two
additional magazines.

This year we’ve all lost loved ones,
welcomed new little humans, gotten
married, gotten divorced, lost jobs, started
new adventures and grown as Simmers and
humans but the one constant has been and
will always be The Sims and our community.
This month we also celebrate 7 years of The
Sims 4 and this year The Sims franchise
turned 21 and what a ride it has been.
We talk to Lumpinou, our very first modder
featured in issue 1 on what she’s been up to
this year. SimSimmerly and myself open up
about who we are and how this all started
and we talk to the amazing Tazreen Tasmin
about her unique Sims art.
Yes, a lot can happen in a year so with only
four months left of this one we hope you
make the best of it by having fun with us.
