Expect<strong>at</strong>ions of Students<br />

Students are required <strong>to</strong> conduct<br />

themselves <strong>at</strong> all times in a manner<br />

which upholds the good reput<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

of the college and which does not<br />

obstruct the administr<strong>at</strong>ion and<br />

work of the college or the learning or<br />

enjoyment of its students and <strong>to</strong> abide<br />

<strong>at</strong> all times by all college values, rules,<br />

regul<strong>at</strong>ions, policies and procedures.<br />

In particular and by way of example, students:<br />

⚫ must be polite and tre<strong>at</strong> all members<br />

of the college community and college<br />

visi<strong>to</strong>rs with respect and must not engage<br />

in any behaviour th<strong>at</strong> degrades others<br />

⚫ must familiarise themselves with<br />

and comply with the college’s<br />

Equality and Diversity Policy<br />

⚫ must not engage in any form<br />

of harassment, discrimin<strong>at</strong>ion,<br />

prejudice, bullying or victimis<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

⚫ must tre<strong>at</strong> the college environment with<br />

respect and show care for facilities and<br />

equipment and must not cause any<br />

damage <strong>to</strong> college property, facilities and<br />

equipment and/or the property of others<br />

⚫ must not use offensive or intimid<strong>at</strong>ing<br />

language (verbal, written or otherwise),<br />

including in emails or other media<br />

⚫ must comply with all reasonable<br />

instructions of college staff, including<br />

in rel<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>to</strong> administr<strong>at</strong>ive m<strong>at</strong>ters<br />

such as those rel<strong>at</strong>ing <strong>to</strong> the keeping of<br />

college records, examin<strong>at</strong>ion entries and<br />

post-college destin<strong>at</strong>ion inform<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

⚫ must familiarise themselves and<br />

comply with the college’s Health and<br />

Safety Policy and regul<strong>at</strong>ions, and take<br />

reasonable care for their own health<br />

and safety and th<strong>at</strong> of others and must<br />

not endanger the health, safety and/<br />

or welfare of themselves or others<br />

⚫ must familiarise themselves and<br />

comply with the college’s Inform<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

Technology and Communic<strong>at</strong>ions Policy<br />

⚫ must not smoke or vape in<br />

non-smoking areas<br />

⚫ must not che<strong>at</strong>, plagiarise or copy the<br />

work of other students or otherwise<br />

engage in any academic misconduct<br />
