Applications for higher education courses
are made from September 2021.
The official UCAS deadline is 15 January
2022, although we advise students to
complete their UCAS applications by
Friday 12th November 2021.
*Please note the application deadline for
Oxford and Cambridge applications and for
Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Science is
Thursday 15 October 2021 at 6pm.

To successfully complete your application
form you will need to produce a personal
statement. Keep an eye out for workshops
and seminars which we usually deliver
from mid September to October, covering
the application process and writing
personal statements. There are also a
number of guides available in the Careers
Centre to assist you with the research and
preparation of your application.

for applying to higher education.

As soon as you consider higher education
as a potential option you can access one to
one support on all matters regarding higher
education and applying to university via
the UCAS Advice Service which is available
every week from October to January.
You can discuss your plans and ideas with a
Careers Adviser. In addition, you should let
your teacher know that you are applying to
university and provide them with a copy of
your personal statement to enable them to
write your academic reference.
