PAINTING AND PIZZA!
Scurry over to the Downtown
Campus for “Painting and Pizza
with Miss Sue Burtner”: Saturday
October 16, 5-7:30 p.m. in the children’s
area on the third floor. Ages
5 - second grade will be creating
their version of “Mouse Munch” on
canvas. Grade 3 and up will paint
on canvas their version of “Pumpkins
on Parade”. Please wear old clothes and restrain long hair since acrylic paint is
messy and permanent. Pizza and drinks will be provided. REGISTRATION IS RE-
QUIRED BY Monday, October 11 to sasa@butlerfumc.com. Please include child(s)
full name and age/grade.
ROOTS BEGINS SEPTEMBER 26
3rd - 6th graders are invited to Roots on Sunday, September 26 from 5:30 - 7 p.m.
at the Rt. 8 Campus. Roots will meet monthly on the third Sunday.
FUSION WILL MEET ON 2ND SUNDAYS
Fusion Youth, grades 7 - 12, will meet at the Rt. 8 Campus from 6:30 - 8 p.m. on the
second Sundays of the month (10/10, 11/14, 12/12). The Yeck Farms trip will be held
on October 3, same scheduled time.
CALLED TO SERVE?
Are you interested in serving those in need from our church? In an effort to build a
church “Serve Team”, we are seeking those who would be willing to participate in
various (but not necessarily every single) indoor and outdoor service projects for
church members who have requested a need for help. These are minor work projects
and not demanding of expert skills, so all are encouraged to consider joining!

WINTER COAT COLLECTION
We are collecting winter coats for the Bundle Up Butler program. Please place new or
gently used coats in the collection areas (near the welcome centers) at our Downtown
and Route 8 campuses. Last day to donate will be Tuesday, September 28.
DID YOU KNOW?
Broad street Elementary school is looking for helpers in the
following areas: lunch monitor (paid), crossing guard (paid),
lunch mentors (volunteer). Clearances will need to be provided
for all three positions. Please call (724) 287-3108 if you
are interested in serving the school in this way.
