Norwich Puppet Theatre was founded in<br />
1979 by Ray and Joan DaSilva and was fi rst<br />
opened as a public venue in 1980, fol<strong>low</strong>ing<br />
the conversion of the medieval church of St.<br />
James in the heart of Norwich. It is dedicated<br />
to puppetry, and currently houses a 185-seat<br />
raked auditorium, 50-seat studio, workshops, an<br />
exhibition gallery, shop and licensed bar.<br />

Puppet theatre from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales<br />
Over 25 years the Scottish Mask and Puppet<br />
Centre has acted as a catalyst, a <strong>res</strong>ource<br />
centre and a lead agency for all those with<br />
an inte<strong>res</strong>t in mask and puppet theatre. The<br />
building includes a 100-seat studio theatre,<br />
exhibition, cafe, library and production and<br />
design workshops.<br />

Founded in 1925, the Guild is the longest<br />
established UK puppetry organisation. Our<br />
aims and objectives are to protect and<br />
promote the skills of puppetry and the model<br />
theatre; to improve the standards of puppetry<br />
in all its forms; to establish communication<br />
between members in both Great Britain and<br />
all parts of the world. Our membership is<br />
drawn from both professional and amateur<br />
puppeteers. Regular meetings, festivals,<br />
