Puppets Abroad<br />
The Ding Foundation<br />

The Ding Foundation makes visual theatre using <strong>puppets</strong>, objects, sound, physical performance<br />
and music. They have made three productions (Being a Bird, Unexploded Bomb and Hanging by a<br />
Thread) that sit between visual art and theatre, employing a strong sense of physicality exp<strong>res</strong>sed<br />
through the creation of moving images and sound worlds. They have performed at the Traverse,<br />
Edinburgh, Little Angel Theatre, The Unity, Liverpool, Bath Puppet Festival, Visions Festival, Brighton<br />
and <strong>abroad</strong> at the Torun Puppet Festival, Dordrecht Micro Festival and the Warsaw School of<br />
Puppetry. The work is devised and performed by Amelia Pimlott and Hannah Marshall.<br />
