Beauty is everywhere. You just have to bee open to seeing it.<br />

I have always<br />
had a love for<br />
photography as<br />
far back as I can<br />
remember.<br />
My grandfather always<br />
had all the top gear and<br />
enjoyed photographing<br />
nature. He taught me to see<br />
the beauty in the smallest of<br />
things, including his honey<br />
bees and how they flew in an<br />
out of the hive meticulously<br />
creating honeycombs<br />
that looked like art. They<br />
were busy and focused<br />
and continued as we<br />
watched on.<br />
I always had a camera in<br />
my hand but never had the<br />
confidence to put myself<br />
or my work out there. It<br />
wasn’t until about 2000<br />
that I started posting my<br />
work in various<br />
photo<br />
groups<br />
and started selling nature and<br />
landscape stock photos.<br />
My confidence in my work<br />
started to develop when I<br />
realized clients were actually<br />
buying them, and I began to<br />
take<br />
my photography more<br />
seriously.<br />
I took some courses at<br />
Grant MacEwan and started<br />
to read and<br />
practice as much as a could.<br />
My niece started modelling<br />
around that time, and I<br />
practiced a lot with her and<br />
found that I had a passion for<br />
photographing people.<br />
I was fortunate to find<br />
really great mentors and<br />
started second shooting for<br />
weddings and family sessions.<br />
In 2012 I started my<br />
photography as a business<br />
and photographed weddings,<br />
newborns and family sessions<br />
and started doing beauty<br />
shoots one on one with<br />
models. This is where I found<br />
my true passion. Beauty<br />
and creative<br />
photoshoots<br />
became my<br />
main focus and<br />
creative outlet,<br />
which really helped me<br />
grow on a personal level.<br />
